I posted these about 14 months ago. Well, one was discovered to have a badly rusted frame tube, so was put on the back burner. The second, for various reasons has proceeded slowly and is ready to have the engine/trans installed in the frame. But the third is almost ready to fire.

I'm missing the fuel lines, oil lines, battery, and horn, but it was such a nice day today and Brent's (Vintage Vendor) candy red paint looks so good in the sun, that I had to roll it off the lift and take a few shots of it in the sunlight. I'm painting the horn and plating the mounting bolts and the fuel line and oil line ferrules are on their way, but I just had to see it in the sun.

Very nice.
Please, what about the rear fender?
Ciao
Piero
An original alloy. I have found a matching fender blank that I will cut from a pattern of the original for the other P11's. The originals do not have a rolled edge at the front or rear, so that will make it simple.

Hi Ron.
Where you have bought it?.
Thanks.

Piero,
I have been collecting P11 parts for over 30 years. The blank fender and original fender were obtained many years ago. Mike Partridge at Walridge may have a source for the blanks (in the correct shape).

Looks like you are missing the fork spring spacers at the top, suspension looks sacked...

Hi Ron,
please, what you mean for "blank"?.
Thank you.

Hi Ron,
please, what you mean for "blank"?

Piero: A blank is an unfinished piece of material or fabrication which needs to be worked on to fulfill the intended function.

Ron: I have collected P11 parts for the last 30 years as well, and I also have an orginal P11 fender in storage. I believe I got mine from Domiracer (now defunct).
Another source was Russell Motors (UK) who still had a few P11 parts in the 1990's. I believe they are thin on the ground by now. Restoring P11s has boomed in these years!

Most of reproduction P11 parts Bob Schanz (DomiRacer) had made were from originals in my or my Norton partner-in-crime's stash!
