I am trying to align my rear wheel and it is offset to the left side about 1 chain width. I am wondering if anyone knows the width of the spacers on each side of the wheel. I am assuming this is my problem.

Yes that is what I found on all the unmolested Commando's I've had or seen so can't line up tire with center of loop or mudgard. Its a non issue except visually - though many debates on why so so many came that way and some experts telling us only a few badly assembled came that way plus the rationalizations to re-spoke rim to center with stem and rear loop, which helps to fit 120-130 size rear though.
Anywho relax its normal finding not something you or DPO left out along axle. I've fudge the centering looks slightly shifting fender to DS for better mud spray coverage and repoked new rim centered in my project special. This may lead into discussion of what causes or prevents drifting hands off one side or the other though L ward mentioned most.

If this is the spacer you looking for is about 33mmm plus a .5mm reccess in the speedo drive

Hi.
The hub cannot have offset, never if you mount the stock parts.
Is the rim that must have an offset.
The rim should not be laced at the center of the hub but moved to the right (speedo drive side) of approximately 4 mm.
Ciao.

So that the "sprockets" align.

So that it "aligns" with the front rim which should be centered in forks.

4mm is a "approximate" dimension given that all frames are i bit different, but is a good start point.

the standard pre MkIII wheels I measured have the WM2 rim flush with the machined face of the hub on the drive side
