Rear hub bearing

Bit of a mystery on rear hub bearing for 1967 N15CS (standard Atlas hub)
Bearing is on the sprocket side and is the one in the hub, part no 17721
(haven’t worked out how to add pictures)
Correct bearing is 40mm outside dia whereas hub measures 41.6 mm inside dia
I am “assuming” the bearing is a press fit into the hub
Is there a sleeve ? not in parts book
What am I missing ?

If you get the VIP membership adding pictures is a simple drag and drop. You can also join a image hosting site and link to your images posted at the image hosting site. I have no idea what an image hosting site costs per month, but it is probably really close to what the VIP membership costs. Unless images can be hosted for free.

I'm not familiar with that hub.

There is no sleeve. The 40 mm bearing should be a press fit in the hub. If it is bigger than that, there is something wrong. Did you take a bearing out? If so what size was it?
