Has anyone used the brake cable with integrated switch like those shown in this Old Britts page? http://www.oldbritts.com/15_060482.html

My question is about clearance. On my bike, when the rear suspension is fully extended, the oem rear cable lightly rubs the swing arm between the swing arm/zplate with the cable routed "correctly," over the Z plate. Actually, the clearance issue is with the bolts/nuts on the rear side of the Zplate that hold the muffler. It appears to me that with the placement of the switch on the cable, the switch section would interfere seriously with the swing arm/Zplate at full extension. Anyone have experience with the integrated cable/switch?

Looks to me like it would interfere big time. My rear brake cable has worn a spot on the z plate as it is. I've got one of those 'sponge' type switches in my front brake cable and I'd really like to get rid of it. They do nothing good for the braking and the switch is marginal at best. Better to fit a micro-switch somewhere in my opinion. The rear brake would be easy to replace the Lucas switch with a micro-switch.
