Any Powerarc users out there tried the "more aggressive" mapping program supplied with the unit by not putting power to the small white wire? I've always run mine in "standard" mapping but I'm doing a rewire job and wonder if it's worth the effort to add an extra toggle switch to change mapping.
Thanks

I had both the C1 (2 curves) and the C2 (4 curves). I tried all the options and it just seem to set advance higher as you go up in curves. The forth curve of the C2 is around 36 degrees, triumphish When talking to the PowerArc guy in Iowa, it all had to do with the available octane levels. He likes to adjust the timing by adjusting the octane.
Give him a call, he'll answer the phone. He seemed impressed with the efficient combustion of the Nortons dome.

Gary is PowerArc designer that knows Norton needs. Indeed power is ignition timing dependent not to blow up on the octane/heat levels. Recently spoke with him on the issue comnoz brought up on not being able to spark on hi CR Nortons. I was referred to this fella's site for some relief of my concerns with maxing out vintage engines.

Peel is getting configured to use PowerArc to trigger plasma blast ignition that gets bigger better faster brighter the higher/denser the mixture. Will have on/off plasma switch as sparkplugs don't last very long with the Huge Currents developed and not needed on low power low pressure puttering around, then the 3 taps per combustion is quite good enough.
