I am instaling new pistons in a '71 Commando after haveing the cylinders bored. When installing the piston's, should the large valve relief in the top of the piston ("large smile") line up with the intake valve, and in turn would make the small "smile" line up with the exhust valves, or is this reversed. Thanks.

Thanks. Now, I have a set of Cycle Craft .060 over pistons. One is marked on the crown with an "R" the other with an "L". I assumed this was for right and left, however this does not work out with the "smiles" To use these the piston with the R would have to go in the left cylinder and the L in the right. Anyone seen this before.
Thanks,
