piston oil scraper ring needed

Newby to this site and first post. I have a 1975 MK111 850. On fitting the barrels I damaged one of the oil scraper rings, the plain ring. The parts supplier has not got a set in stock can anyone help. + 80 oversize , number on the packet WW97335R ring set 19342 +80 , original bore size 3.3015 (77mm) .

The part number xref's to current Wassell/Hepolite 850 rings so look for another supplier who stocks these for a spare set of rings or ask Wassell directly.
 
So phone Wassell directly and ask who in the UK they sent out their last delivery out to as, unless they are RGM, the receiver of the last delivery may have still them in stock. The odds of finding 80 over rings is remote so you need to cover every avenue, RGM are hardly going to direct you to a competitor but Wassell's do not care who you pay as long as its Wassell rings you buy.

Final option is to go for an alternative such as Total Seal who have a search by size and by interchange.

I have, and they cannot tell me who they have supplied to and are at least two week s delivery. I have a local engine reconditioning company who are trying to match them. Just trying to cut down on the delivery time
 
It might be worth giving these folks a call..

Yes I seen those but the carraige charge to England is not far off the price of the rings. I Think I might just order them of RGM and wieght a couple of weeks if the engine company carn't macth them
 
thank you , I'm waiting for the engine re-con company I use to come back to me. If no good I will give them a call
