Well after over six months wait I picked my blue stripe Cali up from the Norton factory today.
To say I'm somewhat delighted would be an understatement !
It's my first ever brand new vehicle and I reckon it's absolutely beautiful.
I'll get someone to post photos asap as I'm a computer luddite.
Still waiting for legal registration .

Great stuff Sam, see you on the road.

Welcome - we've all enjoyed that excitement you feel when you finally take delivery and all those doubts disappear. I am just up to my 1 year anniversary and I love the thing even more now I'm comfortable with its fantastic handling glorious sound and those unique looks. Just remember how much better it gets when you finally get those 500 miles completed and its first service completed.

Your first ever brand new vehicle is a Norton. WOW!!! My brother, you have your priorities in order!! All the best. Can't wait to see that beast in blue and white.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's still not registered yet at DVLA but naughty boy me took it up the road today. I had heard the motors were very clattery, well mine isn't,or do they have to warm up first ? Anyway really enjoyed it but what a crap steering lock though like anything I'll get used to it.
I won't make the London meet as it's a bit far from Merseyside with such a new machine, but maybe one day.
Should have photos up at the weekend.

The riding position felt much better than I’d expected when I sat on one at the NEC last year. What do you think to it Sam?

I do wish you’d stop teasing us with these pics...!

I didn't take it far enough to notice Nigel, but it felt just fine. I did actually choose the bike because the high bars will make riding fast for long periods out of the question (it will obviously also aid engine longevity :-) )
Soon as my mate photographs the bike I will forward the pics to you, but it won't be before the weekend
cheers
sam
