Paint questions

Someone had posted a question about the frame paint. Besides what would be a modern close equivalent to that, I am also interested in heat paint to be used for the jugs(black) and the head(silver). Would caliper paint be an option? I am not doing a full on restore so for me close is good enough.

Also, is there a paint recommendation for the gauge mounting cases?
For these items I am looking for strictly rattle can paints.

Well, the jugs should be a gloss black, not matte. I have finally got mine finished in profeshional hi temp coating, cost me $50 but after rattle can paint jobs that wear off pretty fast I wanted something glossy and permanent. If you want to go that route, check out your yellow pages, ceramic coatings ETC.
I did my gauge pods in a semi gloss, I think that is correct.
