Some time ago in a thread about oil tank colors, somebody here mentioned that he had seen P11's in candy red, blue, and candy green.

Red ones seem by far to be the most common, but I have also seen pictures of a couple of blue ones on the internet, however, try as I might, I cannot not seem to find any pictures of any green P11's. Has anybody got any that they might be able to post here?

I've seen a couple photos of blue P11's, but never any green. All the P11 sheet metal we have are red (when you scrape off the 50 years of repaints!)
Some of the experts claim the factory was planning to offer various colors, but it never came to fruition.

Regardless, I think it would for sure be a fine looking scooter in candy apple green. Silver or gold base?

I really like the look of the old Lito 500's (Sten Lundin era), they were a nice green.

I don't have any pictures, but it would be the same green seen on G12 CS/CSRs. I also don't have the color mix, I only have for the Candy Red and the Chromatic Blue. The folks over at AJSMOC should have a current mix for the green.

I went hunting for pictures of G12's in green, but so far haven't turned up any of those either. It's easy to see why 99% of P11's seem to be red, it's a good color, but I don't want mine to be just another red one.

My 69' P11 isn't original paint but it's British Racing Green.

Yes! He's my dad. He can't really ride anymore so he's given me his 73' Commando 850, the 69' P11, and a 65' Atlas project. I hope to do them justice.

Prior to the fire at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham there used to be three or four "P11s" . There were two or three red ones and a green one with a big globe on the top of the tank. It was not a shiny candy apple green, but more a khaki darker matt (?) grey green. I took some photos, but they are not in my digital collection so must have been taken on a 35mm film camera. If I get time (ha ha) I will look for the photos in the boxes in my loft. I have no idea if the green was an original colour, but to be present in the NMM it possibly might have been (?).
