my original rim lock is shot - rubber is really deteriorated. I found a NOS Dunlop WM2 rim lock on-line and have it on order. in the mean time, decided to try to salvage the original bolt, washers, nut - just used my cut off wheel and bench grinder, and actually it worked out pretty good. I may not install the new assembly in favor of just using the original bolt, and faking it. once installed and tire mounted, I highly doubt anyone would be able to note anything out of the ordinary.
if I use it, it will be installed under the new rim liner, and I'll double up with a short piece of my old rim liner for a little extra protection.
