Opinions on MK3 Seats

Hi Folks,

Looking to purchase a new MK3 Seat. Not just a cover, but I want to purchase the entire seat.

Any recommendations on who makes the best quality seat? I would like to stay with the original MK3 design.

If you want a full/complete seat to just bolt on then IMO go to OlBrits (US).. or AN (Eu)

The word "Quality" is probably why there are little responses here...

Quality = $$$... Im sure CNW will supply you a seat that ticks all the quality boxes.. You may need to fly in and be "fitted" for the seat to make it fitted and perfect for your requirements or you can take your pan to the local upholsterer and "tell" him what you want..

Im not quite sure how seats are "fitted" for a size... Sometimes we need to adapt to the available ergonomics...

I'm running a new MK3 seat from Walridge Motors with no brand name to see. Good quality but when it goes eg. -splits the cover- crushes foam , I plan to build up a more custom seat using denser foam and thicker pleather preferably unpleated with a more dished out shape for the delicate little derriere. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I have decided to go with RK Leighton. They will send me a brand new seat with hinge, silver logo for 185 pounds. That equates to approximately $311.00 shipped to me in Ohio.

+1 for RK Leighton.
I've never seen a bad seat from them . Maybe cost slightly more, but you get a quality item.
