Got a knock on the door last night and there it was, old Saint Norton brought me a present.

The tank is awesome and CNW did some amazing work, tank looked better than new!! Put the new isoelastics and rubber pads on, hooked up the hoses and filter and filled up with oil today. So far so good, going to have to prime the pump though, any tricks you guys can give me?

I also got my Power Arc ignition finished, timed in and tightened up. New grips on the bike with bar end mirrors from Command Specialties, just some finish work in the next few days and (crossing fingers) the Norton will live again!!!

Well it may be over kill but I prime mine by taking out the right side banjo bolt for the rocker feed oil lines. I have a small old brass oil gun and I cover the tip with two layers of shrink wrapp so I can put it in the hole in the head without damaging the threads & pump away! I try to fill it with enough oil so that I feel safe. I guess you could just kick through the bike enough times & that would be enough. Maybe even better.
