oil pump shim

Rarely do I need to increase the pressure on the rubber conical washer between the oil pump and the timing cover. Usually on the atlas and P-11. I discovered that Norton actually makes a shim washer for this, about .008 thick. I've cut these out of a Pepsi can in the past. Part # 06-7784

I assume ya know two kits sold, with two different nipple and oil gasket thickness combos in each kit to match the model yr and or the cover gasket thickness. May not apply to P11's. Old Brits knows for sure.
