Wait....I have an alloy oil tank where the feed line thread is such low and not parallel with the bottom (of course on the wrong way!) that I can not fit the feed banjo bolt with the gauze (I had tried but the gauze hit the bottom of the tank , and after few turns it twisted and finished poorly damaged with no chance to let oil pass through.........) yes it's a PITA, so is it reasonnable to get rid of that gauze and the oil feed the engine without any filtering ???
