Oil Filter

Hi Norton chaps can I put the remote filter in the feed line from the oil tank to the pump ?
Does it have to be on the return side ?
Sorry if this has been asked before I have checked (there are 300 posts just on oil lines)

I wouldn't do that! The way I see it is that you want the maximun possible flow from the tank to the pump?
