obd2 connection and limp home mode?

hello new member here
does anyone know if the obd 2 connector in the tail of the bike works with automotive obd 2 scanners? does the norton have a limp in mode?
im in arizona with my 14 961 sport and had a loss of power, high surging idle,and rich running black plugs.
any assistance would be appreciated!

When my dad traveled across the USA to Texas, somewhere in the middle had a similar issue both ways. My dad thinks it was most likely the gas with too much ethanol or a fuse coming loose in the hump or the elevation and gas mix. There was a fix a while back that added sponge to hold the fuses in tight. Hope this helps (a little).

found it!
coolant temp sensor/ cyl head temp sensor melted and became an open circuit
matched the number to an automotive cts and found it at autozone

Since not much is going on now could you post a link to that fix, or elaborate, I missed it. TIA
