O.D. of 4th gear for Dommie and Commando

There is a difference of .050 between commando and dommie sleeve gear. There must be a corresponding difference of the layshaft 4th also. Is there someone out there handy with calipers who could give me the O.D. of these gears?

The change to the sleeve gear and layshaft 4th gear pinion occurred during early Commando production from serial number 128646.


I don't have the earlier 040284 layshaft 4th but the later 061058 4th I have measures 2.055"/52.2mm.
