I don't know if anyone needs high quality seat foam for their projects, but I just received two that I ordered a week ago from RK Leighton in the UK. Very high quality and "just right" density. Also perfectly sculpted for a great fit under the cover.

Good link, thanks. I didn't replace the foam in my 69 and should have. I had to put a bit of extra foam in the rear to keep it from sagging. Did they sell you just the foam? Which one did you get? I guess I'll have to contact to see if they will do the 69-70 foam for the seat, I got the cover from Walridge and it's pretty good.

Dave, they sold me just the foam for my '70 'S' and for the '68 fastback. They will do the whole seat for you if you send the pan or just supply the foam forms or the seat covers. I was really impressed with the service. Family owned business. You can email Andrew at <info@rk-leighton.co.uk>

Thanks, mine's all back together, but it could really use the new foam. I'll get in touch with them. Give me something to do this winter.

The foam at the front of my seat is sound, as original, and it makes a crummy seat - too hard/thin - always was.
Admittedly, it's OK when I move back a bit but where I lilke to ride, forward, it is the worst.

+1 for the RK Leighton seat foam AND their seat cover. Top quality, fit like a glove. A pleasure to work with parts that FIT. Also, GREAT people to deal with. Prompt, courteous service.

The original seat foam on my Combat was hard as rock from Day 1. 40 years later the new foam makes a world of difference. Did mine myself with a lot of reinforcing work on the fiberglass base but foam and cover came from RK Leighton via Walridge. Excellent quality!

Found a not too bad match for the rubber seat buffers from McMaster-Carr. P/N 9310K124 for $8.66 per pkg of 25. I glued them in with clear RTV but do that with the stock ones too. Just can't bring myself to pay $3-7 each for these!

Leighton is represented in Canada by Walridge if that is easier for anybody. I got a seat
for my Triumph thru him. Nice job. Comfy.
