works, and the music is great.

Really made me want to go fire up the commando, unfortunately I've already cracked a beer. I'll have to ride twice as fast tomorrow to make up for tonight's lack of riding.

Great video.

I am drawn to the part about what working on old iron can feel like; I always ask myself, "how would the original designer approach this adjustment/repair". Motorcycles have always been ahead of the performance curve, even Audi exclaims that they purchased Ducati to learn more about high performance; working on old motorcycles says a lot about technology at the time.

Great shot at ~5:47 with the external valve train in action on the Model 18.
Thanks,

Don't know why the US residents wouldn't understand the music, we've hear that all before if you're old enough. It's just that the roads seem to be in some sort of mirror image, or maybe we're upside down.

good show

I'm sure you are familiar with the music but some videos posted on youtube will not play for people in the US. I posted one the other day that worked fine in most parts of the world, wouldnt go in the US. Something about copyrighted music.

I watched this; and then had to send the link to my sons ! (who prefer the rice burners ... and consider my Brit Bikes "for the ol' guys") Hopefully stuff like this will get them into Nortons, or at least Brit Bikes in general. An asoluteley SUPER kewl video, and many thanks for sharing :D :D :D

I couldnt get over how great the sound quality is. To me a Norton twin is the best sounding engine there is, better than Triumph, and....I can say it here... Better than Vincent.

The film maker, whomever he/she is, has captured that sound, then combined it with some great music and film.

Great vid. A quality production. The bikes and roads look superb. (The weather helps too)

thanks for the great comments, my son Peter derserves all the credit.... although we were very lucky to find three people to interview who managed to convey quite eloquently what we wanted which was more of a personal message about motorcycles and Nortons in particular. Sadly cancer got at least two of the riders not all that long after the ride .. including the man riding the red norton in possibly the best shot of the movie at 7.38 .

I see a southern Californian group is planning to make a movie.. looking forward to seeing it. I would encourage other groups to consider it ( its really easy.. con your son into doing all the work).. its a great way to let others connect with your scene

Happy riding

Loved it, really like the quality. And yes the vid makes you want to just go out and take your Nort on your favorite piece of road!

Sad to hear a couple of the stars are no longer with us.

Cheers Richard

Nice video! I suspect the music would not have passed U-Tube's modern copyright detection setup if it were to be uploaded today....but since it was posted some years back, I guess it's under their radar.

Thanks for sharing, Very well done all round, music brings back memories. I also think the sound of a Norton is out of this world. Sorry to hear about your buddies, that's why we need to get out and ride as much as we can.

Very cool. Went from there to Doug MacRaes' 2009 Daytona win video. Yow! I could maybe ride like they did on the cool-off lap.
