Jerry, for a man who is only about a metre tall you sure have some big feet! :D

The bike looks and sounds great.

Very good use of a Saturday Jerry. I need to finish my switchgear electrics & next timeI'll join you.!! Glenn. Happy Easter.

Girl friend? Hmmm, you've recovered well. Seems your life is firing on all cylinders.

I'm thinking someone "pre-tickled" before the video started...or maybe a Mikuni one-kick??

I'm always amazed at YouTube videos where a Commando is started and idles from cold without dying. My combat has to be nursed on the throttle until it's warmed up before it will hold an idle. Was the same with a single VM32 although I much prefer the 932 sleeved Amals.

Hehe and i thot I was the only one to instantly perk up that either it was not the first start of the day or the mixture is set too rich for ring/bore life, but then it stalled which made me laugh and relaxed judgmental attitude created when Jerry left a slur toward those lovely practical voluptuous Interstate tanks i so closely associate with the Combat Cream of the Crop. Delicious spring day flavor and sonics with a pleasing farting squirt out of sight.

My riding buddy and another fellar and I shot up some innocent debris and took a view blocking limb down, the poor thing, won't even get eaten.

Looks and sounds great. 8) 8)
I just got mine running this week after a strip down. It's always a nice feeling when the bike fires up for the first time.

2 minute, 43 second video. It took you 2 minutes and 32 seconds before you put the bike in 1st gear. We want to see/hear the bike, not you dressing...:). Bike sounds great.

Yes,,big shoes. Hope to get the new Amals this week and get my 850 MKIII on the road this weekend. If it sounds as well as yours. I will be a happy man. New carbs, new ignition, and new battery. Should be good to go. I will post my "first start" on youtube.

Hey look, it didn't embed. Darn youtube shortened URLs. Can you throw your programmer some granola bars and get him to fix that?

Something about socks wearing out quickly..or no, now I remember, they are really tough to knock down, like a Popeye punching bag, those dudes with big feet just pop right back up.
And the girls love them :D

Glen

Looks like your rear wheel touches or almost touches the ground when on center stand. My 72 sits up a good 2 inches.
