Norton engine & gearbox mechanic's in San Diego

Restoration is now underway (via pictures) of a Redline framed Norton flat track bike that was raced at Ascot park in 1971 & 72 by Mel Lacher national number 90. Can anybody refer me to a realiable Norton motor & grearbox mechanic in San Diego County ? The motor is an N15CS & gearbox is early Commando. The gearbox will need a complete rebuild and help will be needed with matching up a proper Lucas or Joe Hunt Magneto -down the road. I'm trying to make this build as original, and period looking as I possibly can.

Let me know if anyone on this site has used anybody (with good results) here, as I appreciate the help.

Sonny Angel in National City. Sonny doesn't do much anymore but his brother Don is a good Norton man. The shop is under new ownership but pretty much the same

only one i'd trust - they are familiar w/ all old brit bikes

I meet up with Issac at Trophy, said he could, or his mechanic Tim would take on the project. He's got it know & said he'll call in a couple of weeks, when it's ready. Thanks for the refferal & Ride Safe, Clyde Williams, El Cajon, Ca.
