Being only a spanner man, it is always a mystery working out what camshaft to use for particular applications.
With the multitude of different camshaft profiles out there, which one to use ?
My questions are:
1. With a "stock combat 750 engine", what advantage, if any would one get by inserting a 3S camshaft over the 2S camshaft?
2. With a "stock 850 engine", what advantage, if any would one get by inserting a 3S camshaft over the standard 850 camshaft?
I guess I want more "grunt" in the low to midrange area.
Would anyone happen to know if Matt from CNW makes any changes to the commando engines he builds ?
Other questions would then be:
What changes should you make to the different heads, if any ?
