No oil leaks...?

Hi guys,
just changed the oil pipes, oil filter, washers, gaskets, rocker feed pipe. chaincase sealing band, alternator lead grommet etc
Fill the bike with oil.
Turn it on.
Go for a short ride.
Stop.
Look at my shoes -no oil...
Park the bike and wait for the drops to start leaking on the pavement.
...
...
...
nothing.

now, (seriously) I am wondering if there is something seriously wrong there.
Can you really "fix" oil leaks on a commando without doing any major intervention?

What is wrong is that you're having good dream. Give it some more time, it should be marking it's spot. Seriously, good for you.

Does it do this if you put a ton on the clock?

Yes. But it never lasts. It's been a constant battle for 36 years for me.

No leaks here. Had some weeps but a reed valve on the breather line cured them.

I haven't had any leaks yet, but only 25 miles on it so far. 'opefully Hylomar has done it's job.

Hi all

In all the 36 years of owning my Norton it has never droped any oil till the other day, the 2 engine mount bolts at the back of the motor 1 top the other bottom, the top one was loose the bottom lost its nut, put a new nut on and tighten them up and no more leak, so its all good not to have any leaks so you did a good job.
