It looks like a Guzzi front end.

As for the rest of the bike, I'm not so sure I like all the combinations.

It does look Guzzi-ish, doesn't it. I'm not sure when they ended, but the little Guzzi cartridge dampers weren't their best feature.
Unless those are Ceriani replacement forks ?

You are right, the combination of styles doesn't sit well - it needs to be cafe alloy, or blue and chequers, both together doesn't work.

What caught my eye was the 1960 ES2 on the same site - bidding at $13k and still going....

Remember that it is NZD which I think are at about $0.75 USD.

Agreed, It almost works, ditch the chequer though and more blue up front to balance it.

You guy are tough to please, looks like the guys built a bike he has enjoyed riding, do you reckon it would be any more fun with out the chequers, maybe it could be painted yellow......?

From an aesthetic stand point the bike looks like a Fastback rear-ended a cafe bike. The point is that if you're going to customize a bike, stick with one theme and go with it.

I think it works, the checkers arent quite my thing but they do a good job of breaking up the straight line along the bottom of the tail piece. Whats wrong with a fastback cafe? In my opinion the only better looking back end is the Dreer one on a Commando... unless you hack off the back frame loop and do something completely different

Nothing wrong with a Fastback cafe. But much how my bike looks disjointed with the naked tank, this one also has the appearance that someone replaced the tank with no regards to how the rest of the bike looked.

And you think that looks better? silver tank, blue panels within the pin striping, silver logo .

I like the idea but the seat is ugly and the side panels are wider than the tank cut outs which is a complete nonsense, as for those silly black bits stuck on the tank

No, I think the whole bike is ugly.

Shit you must struggle to look at your bike then .

That's what I said, it's annoying not having it finished. But grabbing a big handful of Combat power makes you forget all kinds of things.

I think the bike is cool except for the norton logo is too big, and the race check is puke-tastic
