I replaced my old needle bouncing Smiths speedometer with the new electronic version. Bought the Speedo and the drive conversion kit. Very easy to convert to the new drive gear. The switch for setup and trip reset I used a momentary switch from Frys, installed on the top on the headlight bucket. One note, keep the wires from the speedo drive away from the coil, at low speed the needle would jump, problem went away when wire was moved. And on the speedo drive the little nub needs to be removed to allow the pick up to go in all the way. Im saving my change and aluminum cans to buy the matching tach. Tom will be at the Quincy Rally so might buy one there.
