New parts - I´m pleased.

New inner chain case, sealing discs and felt washer. Was a little nervous about this but read that it works fine with rivets, so I tried that and it did. Even the felt washer crept in pretty easy with a little help from the dentist-looking tool which is for taking o-rings out, worked great here. The felt seems a bit big, but I guess it has to be so it sits tight on the mainshaft.

Looks good! I found that the felt goes in easier if soaked and covered in grease. Those o-ring picks are handy tools.

Will you be training to become a dentist? - they are rather hard to get hold of in the UK since the Covid 19 lockdown

The original installation used spot welds. Will you have enough clearance with pop rivets?

I just had to cut the excess off one rivet to stop it colliding with sprocket lock screw( not a Commando, a 1/4 inch sprocket.)

Hope so!

I´ve read here on the forum that it´s been done by several others so..... On the side that´s in the pic the rivets are flush with the plate, that´s towards the clutch. On the other side they are also practically flush, I used the smallest rivets I had. I´ll take a pic on the other side too.

My Wife is an NHS dentist and has worked most days through this pandemic
