Me too. Not an SE, a Sport. Still loving it. Sometimes I wonder why, but I do. Welcome to the forum.
 
Hi ,thank you all for your warm welcome! My biggest problems were the irregularity of injection engine operation and oil consumption. Above all, the first aspect was and still partially is really annoying because the behavior of the bike is often different and inconstant, the start is often difficult, the idle speed sometimes low with turns off, sometimes running at 2000rpm.
But I was going to improve my bike and better things have to arrive from now on.In my lucid engineer madness:( I intend to design, develop, test and produce some italian high quality parts to enhance Commando 961 driving experience ;).

Regarding your running issues, I would suggest you research on here about an upgraded coil and ignition leads set, people who have changed a none Bosch coil for this Bosch upgrade report big improvements, both available from here:

And then research the sensors topic, changing out any non Bosch engine sensors for genuine Bosch ones has also been reported to help improve th the kind of symptoms that you report.
