New helmet visor wiper.

Suspect it will follow the same path as

New helmet visor wiper.

Yep FE. I don't do full-face, but I do do goggles.. While they're at it how about a goggle defroster for fogging?.... Two birds with one stone there for my goggles & glasses.

To me, “available soon” means “doesn’t exist.”

There was a previous similar thing called Rainpal. They were taking deposits in advance, for a long time.

I got their deposit right here.

I keep forgetting I now inhabit this old man body and the rumble is in the past.....

me want one saw this on google
DIY Goggle Defogging
  • Saliva - Lick or spit in your goggles, rub it around and rinse.
  • Baby shampoo - Put just a drop of baby shampoo on your goggles, wipe it around and rinse or buff the goggles with a towel.
  • Shaving cream - Use a drop of shaving cream, wipe it around and rinse or buff with a towel.

I use full face Shoei almost exclusively except when out on Sunday Norton ride ,then open face Bell with glasses .... both my full face lids clear rain off with a quick head turn right then left , for fog the anti-fogging shield attached to inside of helmet shield ( name escapes me) works 100% no fog ever .... years ago I witnessed a guy’s face after an off on gravel covered asphalt .... came home and ordered my first full face helmet , never went back , even wear ear plugs ,always as well and a spine protector always .... I seriously thought Cliffa posted this as humour ..... okay ,looked it up the anti fog insert, it is a Pinlock Lense insert ....

It popped up as one of those sidebar adverts and I took a look. To be honest if the price was right I'd probably give one a try. My only real concern is the wind noise it will generate. But at least it's easily fitted so doesn't need to be a permanent fixture.

In the summer I wear an open lid as well, but after being hit on the cheek by a big bee or a beetle last year it really made me have second thoughts about that.

I agree. This is what did it for me. No more open face

Im thinking they worked as I remember lads wearing those at karting tracks when I was a kid.
Yea, they worked....but the clear plastic was not up to it, go above 55 -60 ,mph (lower if there was a 10mph headwind) they shattered! Anyone want a UXB in front of their eyes?

Have had a couple too many concussions already playing contact sport for many years plus a couple of “speed at fault” car accidents , try and protect my noggin best way possible ... on a bike it is full face helmet without question.... helps to see where you going too

That wiper concept has potential...don't knock it till' you try it.
If I am rain riding and can keep my hands on the bars instead of constantly wiping down the visor thats a plus.

I hear you , I do find turning head side to side is just as effective as using a wipe on left glove though ...

Ive used RainX for plastic visors to good effect while riding in rain. Also had a little rubber squeegee on one finger of clutch hand. It worked pretty darn well for occasional wiping. Picked that up at a local bike shop someplace.

For anti fog, there various coatings available. Pinlok inner screens work, but not sure why more manufacturers dont just incoporated a double layer on all their visors instead of have specific pinloks made for each different make. We've had double layer visor tech for skiing googles available for at least forty years now.
