Hi Don, very nice work indeed, outstanding, be no good at my place, to much cleaning and polishing lol, anyway lots of great modernisation for a old bike, looks great.
Hi Don, Very Schweet !! I would like to ask you about that good lookin' rear chain guard ...err, um ....I mean belt guard ... is that a one off custom piece that you made specifically for this bike? Cj

Great bike, Don. I am particularly interested in your gearbox. If it's an AMC 'box, where did you source the cover? Or is it a one-off?
I want to ditch the K/S on my Mk.3 .
Knut. outer cover is from RGM for racing. They come with RGM cast in the front. I dont know what they are made of
You would think they are ordinary aluminum but its not possible to weld them. I blanked off the shift shaft hole, reangled the
shift shaft hole for MK3 output. relocated the cable hole as they come in the Dommie position, did a lot more machining inside for the MK3 mechanism. I wouldnt advise trying to fit one to a MK3 because of the outputshaft angle of the MK3 . I wouldnt do it adain
Don, I considered the RGM cover but couldn't warm to the idea of having to modify it. Now you tell me it's even harder than I imagined. Thanks so much for the input. I will opt for converting stock MK3 parts instead. The result of your work is astounding and beautiful.
