There's easier ways but I use google drive because its reliable and they're not going to pull your photos the way photobucket screwed us. Once you memorize it it goes faster.
PHOTOS ONLINE WITH GOOGLE DRIVE
- First size your image to a max of 800 pixle width
go to:
https://drive.google.com.
-hit "new" button to create and name a folder for the images you want to post
- put any photos you want to post online in that folder, be sure to paste that link and name of the folder in your PC so you can find it again (or you’ll be sorry because google can make it hard to find). Always start by cutting and pasting that link to open up google drive to your folder.
- select a photo in google drive, right click on it and choose "get sharable link"
- in the next pop up choose “sharing settings” at the bottom of the pop up.
- in the next pop up copy the long link that ends in "sharing" (also click on "advanced settings and make sure your link preference is set to "public" or “anyone”.
then open another browser window and go to:
http://gdurl.com/ (hint - open both browser windows before you start so cutting/pasting is easier).
paste in your link and choose "permalink".
-choose "standard URL"
- copy the "standard URL pemalink" and paste it into the forum post (click image icon in AccessNorton header to paste the image)
You can paste the Google drive "sharing" link into
http://gdurl.com/ at a later time and it will generate the same permalink for you.
Sometimes its trick maneuvering through the folders in google drive but if you keep clicking on the next folder you'll get there. When you get to the last folder where all your folders are available - save that link for reference. Keep the folder links handy so you can go to them directly and not waste time looking for them.
