Need Recommendation

I am going to install a new "rubberized" OD main seal for between the left crank half and the primary

what should I use to secure the little bugger in place so it does not turn, need to be a hi temp sealant of some sort?

I use the smallest amount of Motoseal , by Permatex . A very light coat to both home surfaces then carefully tap the seal into place.
