I'm rebuilding my MK3 engine.
Looking for any of the following:
-A crap timing cover to make a cutout out of
-A nice timing cover that will allow me to make a cutout out of mine
-Someone willing to sell their cutout
-Someone willing to let me rent their cutout
-A different strategy to deal with the timing chain that doesn't require a cover that isn't going to kill my engine
I'm also thinking about just taking my cover to a machine shop and having them make a plate. I'm guessing that'd cost about the same as the current eBay prices for these things.
