N15 speedo question

I’m fitting a chronometric speedo to my N15CS using the stock speedo drive.
Would the stock speedo cable fit, if not what do I use?

I think you need to have a cable that has a speedo end correct for the chrono which I believe is different than a magnetic.
This may be only true for the chronos fitted to Commandos though so check with a chrono rebuilder.

Assuming you already have the Chronometric then check the square (should be 1/8" ) drive end of the existing inner cable fits the recess in the Chronometric without bottoming (so no more than 7/16").

However, there are many types of "Chronometric" and not all are likely to have the same drive ratio or direction of cable rotation as the original BG5330/257 2:1 reversing drive gearbox (for the SSM3001/00 magnetic speedo).
