I have a late 1964 N15 that is missing the foot pegs. My question is were there any changes to the footpegs from the start to the end of production and if so do we know when?

None that I know of. I've been looking for a decent pair of rubbers for mine, and what I have found is that they are Matchless foot pegs. The G80 looks correct, but I haven't been able to compare them side by each.

The G80CS and G15CS are the same footpegs. The big casting is specifically for the AMC heavyweight frame (which includes the N15). Prior to '64 or '65, the footpeg was fixed. from about '65-on, the folding footpeg was standard for Scramblers.

My G80CS has fixed footrests, which mount identically as my G15CS with folding pegs (yes, the G15-style footrests can be mounted on an earlier bike, but the fixed pegs can not be modified to look like the later ones)

My G15CS has the folding pegs

My Ranger has different mounts, but the folding footpeg part is the same part as the G15.

No, they did not come with rubbers, but one can retrofit almost any rubber (When I got my G15, the rubbers said 'Ducati')

Castings are 030474 and 030475 (right and left) - N15CS, G15CS
folding footpegs are 029859 - N15CS, G15CS, P11, P11A, Ranger

Hi.
My 1964 G15 MK2 has not the same foot pegs of my 1966 N15 CS.
They are one piece.
Piero

Road bikes - G80S and G15 Mk II - had fixed footpegs. Scramblers - G80CS and N15CS/G15CS - had folding footpegs after about '64, due to safety concerns. Whether one piece or two piece they mount the same way to the frame. The castings fit over the frame rails and a square rod slides through the casting/frame, spacer, engine plate, spacer, engine plate, spacer, casting/frame. nuts and washers on each end of this square rod hold the whole thing together.
