Agh the beast. Bought it for the missus but it was too heavy etc. I loved it though. Sold to a good home (ex dunstall test rider - lovely chap!!!) to fund the update to my 73 850 roadster.
Some times I wish I had kept it.
I swapped it for a 2008 fzn1000 that stole all my driver points. That bike was very quick and worked/tweaked to 155+hp but eventually it was just sitting out the front of my house not being used (hence the swap) as at the time, I was smitten with the norton I had wanted since I was a 13 year old kid who saw one in a live to ride magazine (AUS).

I got rid of it thinking it was a non matching combat but it turned out that the guy I sold it too discovered an interesting history on the bike. It was purchased brand new in the states w/ different numbers. Apparently it was 71 stock on the floor that was upgraded by the dealer to a combat spec engine.

The thing you find out.
