need another project like i need another hole in the head, but "it;s calling me." on the search for a 1970 T100R - Triumph Daytona 500. bought one new back in the day, and thought it might be a good nostalgia project. if anyone has any leads on one here in the states, post or message me - florida's a big plus. thanks. (pic is just a representation)

Always liked them, never ridden one.
Peter Egan commented more than once, one of his favorite rides was a Sunday Morning cruise on the T100.

Cause the Pre Unit can haul ass too , ifits setupright . ( They take BIG valves too . frames a bit useless )

theres a few rickmans , & things about too . The late model engines are tougher . plus a few T 90s thatll take the T100 Barrel .
AND the TR5T Adventurer . Twin 30 mm carbs dont hurt . Late barrells aledgedly take .40 over 650 pistons . Whichisonly about 3 mm .

Pends what you use it for , I guess . Theyre light & fast & handle well . the exotics were unknown to the masses once , so were dirt cheap .

Likely youd just put a siamesed exhaust , or whatever , on . Dual high pipes ? . Were a few 74 disc brake 500s too .

really its a ' triBSA ' B50 with T100 engine . dunno if the dual carbs fit ? Bigger F brake for roadracing'd help . 74 B50s used to be giveaways , 20 years back .

degressing slightly less .

The souped up one I was loaned , had the carbs like that . Early frame with the bolt in sub tank tube reinforcing . Slotted ends on that is a no-no if you prang , anatomicly . Like stradling a barbed wire fence . !

YAY Cycle World . Note , the late ones are 650 / 750 Valve Head diameters , so the 30 mm carbs letem breath . ( test says 1 1/8 AND 1 1/16 in ! . , mightve been tricked up . Ports bored to 30 does that ) .
