Maybe should be in the "For Sale" section Norcom?

But while I'm at it, your Three Phase 210 Watt Alternator Kit - does it include a 3-phase rectifier/regulator as well (SPX003)?
And are the rect/regs you sell ok with Boyer and other CDI systems, either with or without 5k plug caps?

I was more thinking in terms of the info on the Alton install, and the Norton pages(which I will be adding to over time).
I thought ( well, hope) these are more general interest areas.
But to answer your question, yes 3 phase reg/ rec included, 5 k caps required as mentioned.

Thanks for doing the link.
It's not that I really need a site for selling, as every enquiry pretty much starts with "I noticed your details on the Alton website".
But I always enjoy install articles and information, and details of bike projects, so am going to try posting a few experiences of my own.
Probably won't be earth shattering, but might be a light read for a minute or two.

From the web site:

PLEASE NOTE. Single & Three phase boxes
Due to the sensitive nature of both the single and three phase boxes it is VERY important to fit spark plug caps of the 5000ohm resisted type.
Failure to do so will cause overloading.

No wukkas Norcom, thought it might be easier for others to find your wares if you put it in the For Sale section. I think I'll avail myself of one of your 3-phase setups before next winter, so I can fit some decent lights and hot grips!

Yep, cheers RVich, but there's no reason to conclude that that was written for anything other than an original points-based system. With modern EMI/EMC directives you might hope that a modern Boyer or equivalent might be kinder in the way of conducted transients on the bike's supply. (S'pose you could also argue that the rect/reg should be more robust too!)

As far as I'm aware the same thing applies for Sparx reg/recs regardless of ignition system type.
