I read to install stock adjusters on the exhaust, better angle. Maybe just a bad adjuster, hardening is bad.

Mick Hemmings claimed that the right side exhaust is a common problem of not being centered over the valve stem and that he commonly fits two or more shims to that rocker spindle to get it central.
