Mudguards

I have a new 961 MK2 Euro 4, with the inverted Ohlins and the silly front fender/mudguard as we call them in the UK, this sits on top of the wheel and is useless at protecting the bike, road dirt gets sprayed all over the place! does anyone know of an alternative carbon fender or extension?

Just an Idea. But have you seen a older sport front mudguard ? Look at some of the photos in (pictures of your 961 section) . The fender is longer especially at the back of the front tire. Could you manage to fit one of those ? You would have get them mounted somehow. The other idea is to get a mudguard extension fabricated and drill and screw to the rear of the current mudguard . There may be a universal fender extension on the internet ?

Hi Tony, yes I had an earlier sport and the mudguard with a mudflap was fine, unfortunately the mounting on the inverted forks is totally different, so I think I will have to get a bespoke one made up!
