I notice most Forum members refer to the "go lump" as a motor.
As young engineering students, we were instructed that if a device produced useful work from heat, it was an engine. If it used electro magnetism to produce useful work, it was a motor.
Should we refer to our 2 wheeled machines as "engine cycles"?
What sayeth all? ☡
As for myself, I believe I will continue to use "motor cycle" powered by engines.
