The first Australian Moto Giro was held north west of Brisbane recently, it was open to Italian single cylinder bikes pre 1975 and up to 500cc. The do was take off the Italian Moto Giro held in Italy every year.
It was held over 3 days and a lot of miles or kilometeres were traveled by old blokes on old bikes.
A fat time was had by all, can't wait for next year!
Some pictures below if anyone's interested.

Great pictures of some neat bikes! Thanks for posting, it brought back some memories. Like the Ducati Diana Mk III that I used to have. Had to sell it before the restoration was complete, but a fun little bike. And the Parilla, I assume a 250? I never saw a road model before, but in the early 60s when I first became interested in motorbikes, a neighbor had a 250 scrambler that he raced. That was my first real bike ride! I still remember the sound of the reverse cone meg on that 250. Too much.

Cheers

Hello sidreilly,

Yes there was some very nice old bikes.
And yes, the Parilla is a 250. It was the prettiest bike I've seen in a long time, it went very well too.

here's another pic of it, I took a few. (don't see too many down here)

Regards Graeme.

Because of runs like that I recently looked at a Benelli. There are a lot of pretty Italian bikes from that era.
