I'm not trying to whine, I think, but who is Mark Grasso? I can't find anything on him on the forum. Just curious. He does have a nice restoration.

Another outstanding batch of bikes, I'm impressed!

Unclviny

I agree some of these bikes look very impressive, although one looks nowhere near finished or that special!

I have changed my vote (sorry Roy) to James Malm, that is one good looking Norton.

Jean

I went with the guy that did it himself, posted his progress all the way through and helped out everyone else along the way. It would be better if we had real "before" pictures... ie leaning against the barn covered in bird poop. (I always forget to take pictures then too.)

Russ

Not that I want to change my vote, but i still don't see how that is done.

We need more members to vote. According to the tally so far only a very small portion have even bothered. Though there isn't a lot at stake recognition to those that worked hard to resurrect a norton should be important to all of us.

Sorry, I haven't been poking my head in as much this year.... I put a lot of miles on old Strunzo this summer until the ethanol finally ate through the gas tank. I have a new one from Commando Specialties ( he's a friend of mine) which is waiting on clear coat prior to this year's riding season.

Man, I'm glad I'm not up against some of these bikes this year! I'm pleased to see that the most improved Norton contest is still in full swing. My vote is cast, my donation is sent.......... can't wait to see the winning bike in all it's glory

I cast my vote for Alan Rogers. I really like the way his bike turned out. I would like to see a picture of it before it was completely taken apart.

Hi all,

I have had 99.9% positivity out of this forum and this contest. As you know I sent a follow up email to encourage users to vote yetserday. I hear back from lots of you and it's great to hear from you. Every now and then I get something a bit negative (not often). I received a reply back last night that I thought would get ya going. This is what the person said:

Sorry Jerry, no thanks,
From what I have seen, your forum members wouldn't know a most improved Norton if it fell in their laptop.

I doubt this person even looked. I am banning the user from the forum.

Anyway thought I would share-- Merry Christmas to all,

Jerry

I voted for Dave M. because this category is for the "most improved" Norton and not the best-looking or coolest etc. In my opinion, it really is necessary to have a "before" photograph that can best illustrate the amount of work needed for the project - some showed a powdercoated frame or a fairly good-looking, intact bike as the initial picture, which possibly belies the true amount of improvement.

Jerry

That must be one miserable individual.

It had to be DogT's just because he got it finished! and since the 70's. I last rode my project in 1990. It might be ready for this summer, great collection of machines though, Merry Christmas!!..........should have chosen and red one with bells on

there needs to be a Humbug every Christmas......... :|

I think it's a GREAT forum and you folks are hugely responsible for my bike being as great as it is..... so that guy wouldn't know a good forum if he tripped over one!
