Hello chaps,
As part of the winter refresh of my Mk3 I’m thinking of giving the brakes a birthday. I’m focusing on the master cylinder with the aim of improving the hydraulic ratio. I’ve unearthed a master cylinder that I think will do the job, and plan A is to try to fit it inboard of the switch block; that changes the minimum amount of stuff. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll be looking for a throttle assembly that mimics the Mk3 in terms of cable fit & ratio, and a switch block that mimics Mk3 in terms of function & (preferably) appearance. Has anyone done similar before, who could identify suitable replacements?

Cheers, Jon.

Ah, thanks, but I think I have the master cylinder bit sorted (I've found an old small-bore cylinder that almost has the reach to mount inboard of the switch block) but if not, it's alternative switchgear & throttle I'm after suggestions for.
