I've seen various supplies with discontinued MK3 rearsets-but none actually available.Does anyone still make them??? I'd love a set-I would borrow a set and have a few sets manafactured here in Colombia if there was interest. There must be a few of us about with the same problem.

Al, did you check RGM inthe uk ?, according to their website, they can supply rearsets for the MK3.

Everyone says they can supply them, but they seem to be non-existant on the shelves and ready to ship; that's been the case for about 3 years. Once in a while a set will pop up on e-bay...

It's been a long time but I think Norvil has them too. I'd say your best bet would be to design & make your own, I've never seen a factory set that wasn't fairly ugly anyway so making a set would mean you can do what you want. Good luck.

we have a set of norman hyde rear sets in the shop for sale that are marked for a MK111 in the box, if ya want them I can ship them to you
cost to be determined by my boss

Fan damn tastic!!! just let me know how much.
I may try and fabricate a few copies if anyone is interested?

I just found a set of MK3 rearsets that I didnt know I had, they are the Clubman or OldBritts type, they are missing the alloy mounting block for the right side , does any one know if this alloy mount is the same as the left side or is it a completely different casting ?

Installed a set of Norvil rearsets on my MkII Commando and they look and work great. Nice quality.

Thanks for that, but the thread is about MK3 rearsets and by BTW Norvil as far as I know dont make MK3 rearsets.

I have a set of Clubman Mk111's on my bike, I was told they would be possibly the last set made, as for the Blocks I think they are different, as the original brake system is used. I posted some photos in november ( I think) not sure of the post ,It was M111 rearsets and kickstart. At the moment I can't take the gear off to photograph it.

thanks for that, maybe its the same casting but machined differently, I dont have a MK3 otherwise I could design and make the appropriate mounting. If someone has one and has their bike down for a short period I could borrow it and copy it and return it within a few days.

The two castings are different, right side is more hollowed out to allow the rear brake line to pass through.

You can use 2 right sides, but not two left sides.

can't use 'em on a right-foot-shift bike without a lot of work...

thanks, do you think the left side could be modified to use on the right?

Thanks, I ordered a new standard casting for the right side so with that and some good pics I have I will be able to make the correct part.

MK3 Rearsets and their exsistance (2013)

I've been playing around with welding jigs for assembly of my upcoming Stainless Steel MK3 rearsets.
Assembled this set and they look fine, the folding foot pegs are not stainless neither are the clevis's.
I've made the clevis's with an offset slot to give some sideways adjustment if needed. the clevis pins are the
Norton type with the spring steel clip.
About 2 weeks I'll have the castings for the alloy mounting blocks which will then need to be machined.
slowly slowly

They can LOOK right, bot still not work quite right. Before you produce them in numbers, you must test them!

Yes I have a set for a tester in Australia lined up. my rearsets are virtually identical in dimensions to probably the most popular rearsets for MK3's ever sold,

Please keep us posted MA, I'm really interested. Email me if necessary.
