I am changing out the rear sprocket on Mk3.
Bought new sprocket off eBay vendor fdmc1984.
Now with fit up the gap at rear hub seems too much 0.070 - 0.080"

Went back and fitted old sprocket and duplicated same gap.
I do not remember any gap before.

Is this clearance standard fit up on a Mk3 rear sprocket to hub?

The gap has been mentioned several times before and it is normal.

Mine also has a fairly large gap. In addition, my rotor is not very centered in the caliper as it is closer to the outside. It seems like my wheel should be shifted slightly to the left but this is dependent on the bearings and spacers which are original (well, the bearings in the wheel have been replaced with stock ones from Old Britts). I just assumed this was about normal.

I feel ya, gap is normal, but sure didn't look right the first time I re-assembled the rear wheel. Thank goodness for this board.
