MK 3 left hand switch assembly

My MK 3'S left hand switch assembly has pack up working, been looking around and they appear to be NLA. I have found Triumph T140 switches that look the same available as replicas but they have a separate clutch lever assembly. does anybody know if the internals are the same and could be just swapped over to my original switch ? I'm looking at this switch

Sounds very like LAB's suggestion will work. When you dismantle it to repair do it inside a plastic bag. There are many small parts including springs so you do not want to lose them if they go flying.

Then I suggest you remove the plate (3 Posidriv screws) one of which is missing in the picture as the plate is broken...

...remove the nylon sliding contact holder (with a brass contact and a spring behind) and the contact board...

...clean them up, reassemble and see if that cures the problem.

I have a Sparx L/H complete assembly in stock $300 Canadian chasfix@aol.com. This a copy of the original MKIII switch not the other Triumph switch.
