Mikuni 34 or 36

Have rebuilt MK11 850 to standard specs, whats the go a 34 or 36 mikuni carb ?

I've had both sizes and would go for the 36mm. The 34mm chokes the top end. Wasn't expecting 120mph off a single carb but you will notice the smaller carb is limiting and I don't recall it as much with the 36mm.

I use the 34.

Strong idle, good power through the range. No issues after years of use.
