I spent some time today looking at bids from Mecum's recent Las Vegas motorcycle auction. I concentrated on the most popular Brit makes and years. I left out any rare models like TT Specials, BSA Hornets or JPS Commandos. I also left out any modified bikes like cafes and choppers. Amount shown is either winning bid or high bid on a no sale. I did take a quick look at the pictures on each. As you would expect the highest bids were on pristine 100% correct bikes by recognized restorers

Couple of observations
All of the Tigers, Trophies and Daytonas were done to a fairly high standard while there were some mediocre Bonnevilles that dragged the average price down.
It wasn't a good sampling of Tridents with no real over the top bikes.
Commando prices seem somewhat higher on average. Because they are less common or ? 1975 Electric starts appear to bring a premium.
Except for Commandos, anything over 10K was 100pt restoration often by a "name" restorer.
7 to 10K$ will buy a really nice Brit bike.
A lot of the prices were probably near or less than restoration costs.
Ride'em and enjoy them.
