Steve has stopped selling his cams, I know they are close to a 4S but how close?

Is a 4S a drop in replacement regarding lift, timing, etc?

And / or does anyone know who made Steve‘s cams and if they’re still available from someone / somewhere?

Thanks Chris.

You don’t also happen to have info regarding installed valve spring length for Maney springs in your extensive library do you ??

I think the cam in my 850 motor is very close to standard. Judging from the timings, a standard Commando cam should give a surge of power at about 4000 RPM when it is used with separate exhaust pipes - do they do that ? I have never used my Seeley 850 with anything other than a 2 into 1 exhaust system. I would be interested to know what a 4S cam actually does - is the power band the same, but stronger than with a standard cam, or does the power band shift ?
My cam is probably the 650SS grind.

I thought the same chaps but I spoke to them today and they said they did not !

They are however happy to check out my cam and make a new replacement, or sell me a 2S or 4S. They now do steel cams as well as iron, which I find appealing.

They always did.. I was offered the choice about 30 years ago! ;)
